blodnob valve
can I get some numbers with an 18″ barrel heavy hammer and the blodno valve. Also how many shots do u think I’ll get off one fill with this valve? Is it like the condor high flow valve and u only get 15 shots on high power.

I chronied my Blodnob/18″/Heavy hammer/Heavy Spring combo when I first installed it. 16 grain Predators started out at 1250, but I had the top-hat turned in about half way. (way too much). I never really opened it up, as Predators are too expensive to just be shooting for max velocity, but suffice it to say, I had plenty of thread to really back that top-hat out and blow a ton more air. Just never saw the reason. I’ve since screwed the top-hat in, and replaced the heavy spring with the stock spring and heavy hammer, and have tuned it down to where it’s tossing them reliably at 965. After the first 15 or so over the chrony, and velocity hovered around 960-970 for a while, I stopped chronying. I’m still shooting, 30 or so shots into the tank, with no noticable shift in POI.
I’m not sure how much faster I can accurately drive these Predators, but dammit they’re sweet at around 960.
