Q:

Milky leapers

My leapers scope has been having an issue. When you look through it, it’s got a milky white look to it. Nothing you can’t see through, it’s almost like looking through something clear white. Just adds a bit of a haze to it. Again, nothing that you can’t look through, just a bit annoying.

Anybody have any idea what it is?

No not at all.

The Legend is a great scope and I have gone through so many mediocre scopes I wish I had listened when it was recommended to me the first time.

The money part fades away very fast when accuracy is being screwed with and you are alway chasing zero.

But don’t worry about offending me. To do that you need a monkey wrench, a jar of mayonnaises and Nun.

Hey Adam hope you didn’t take me the wrong way… not knocking the Legend at all… by all accounts it’s a great scope

Are you somehow advocating getting a Bushnell Legend? LOL

Well, after just purchasing a Nighteater online myself, I really didn’t need to read Shadoh’s story, lol. I’m coming from a Leapers myself that I don’t like. I’ve had 2 that were flawed in one way or another. I was talking to a guy that owns a gun store here locally, and mentioned my Leapers, and why I was looking for another scope to replace it.

He’s not even going to carry them anymore. He said he’ll sell what he has, and when he’s out that’s it. Apparently he was tired of so many returns, and unhappy customers. It’s apparent to me that Leapers has some serious QC issues, and although I know many are happy with them, I’m not spending my bucks on another. 2 strikes you’re out lol.

It’s my understanding that the nitrogen in scopes is to keep the glass from fogging up inside? If so maybe it is a leak?

Buy a bushnell 😆

Almost sounds like it leaked? My Nighteater did that and I had to send it in for replacement. It started with the haze and ended up getting dust particles inside that were visible.
