I’ve no idea what to equate it to…. All I know is for weeks, they interviewed the worst folks they could find in these hills…..

I really think that local news finds the most ignorant folks to interview…. Dont get me wrong… I’m as redneck as any…. but I’d like to think I’m not THAT bad.

How the Richter scale works is a 3 is 10x greater then a 2. So today the 5.4 we had was over 30x greater.
We had a 2.something come by here in the mountains of Western NC some years back. Never had anything like that before. Rednecks running around crazy thinking the apocalypse was here. Quite funny.
As for me, I was down here in the basement on the computer when it happened. I thought a plane crashed or something. Kind of odd….I’d never experienced a quake before.
