Problem with brand-new rifle.
I bought my brother a Storm a few weeks ago and it was working fine. This afternoon it was suddenly losing MV, even with a filled tank (firing it lower didn’t make a difference).
Checked the valve assembly in the bottle, no probs there. Stripped the rifle down, it appears one of the breech-block o-ring grooves has been cut too deep, allowing the o-ring to stretch over time and it no longer grips the barrel at all. The other o-ring binds nicely. Also the edges of the flawed groove are scuffed, indicating the barrel has been bearing on it instead of on the o-ring.
Any easy solution, or is it a return jobby? A custom replacement breech might be the best solution, not being impressed with AF’s machining as he is right now.
Any advice or help would be appreciated, he’s pretty teed-off right now (crying like a babby 😆 ).

Two probs with that one, the shop is a long way from here (50 miles in Essex) and he’s lost the reciept I gave him with the rifle. That was the first idea though, send it direct to Gunpower with the reciept. But no reciept, they won’t deal with it. It’s highly unlikely they would have got it sorted in time anyway.
Good morning RiffRaff. I’m sure you are a perfect gentleman sir. 😆
