Logan S16, anyone have one?
I find myself torn between the Logan S16 and a Tallon SS. I am looking for something that is quiet that I can hunt small game with. The Logan at $1000 is a big purchase for me, but I will spend the money on a high end product. i was wondering if anyone has tried one or knows much about them? I really like the idea of a multi shot that looks like the Tallon SS.

I tried a friends Logun S16 for a weekend and I had to have one. It arrived today. Needless to say I’m looking forward to this weekend. Can’t beat it for shooting small varmints up to the size of a fox. A lot of folks mention that its heavy… very true if you compare it to any of the AirForce guns. However, I’m of the opinion that the AirForce guns are very light. The weight of the Logun is not excessive and I believe it contributes to accuracy in off hand shooting. The only thing that bothers me about the Logun is that they don’t even bother including fill adapter or a little bit of lube for the o-rings or a bottle cap. For $1000 they could at least throw in a bit of stuff to get you started.I bought it because I’m an airgun addict.
If your just an occasional shooter I would go with any of the AirForce models… unless you absoultely have to have multi shot airgun. For $1200 you can have an SS, 24″ barrel for occasions when you need more power and enough $ left over for a tune or accessories. The best thing about them is that they are easy to maintan and work on… sometime I have more fun tinkering than shooting (especially when the weather is bad). I have quite a few nice airguns, but the ones I enjoy the most aren’t the expensive ones…
I’m thnking about an Air Ranger of a .25 Custom Rapid tuned by Swift or AZ. Nice guns. But the only advantage I can over the guns we have is multi shot. My SS is a tack driver after putting a 18″ lapped w/l bbl in it!

I got an FX typhoon and a BSA Lonestar both guns shoot great. Never had to do any mods to make them great shooter.
stay away from rapids….overpriced pieces of crap that needs as much tuning as an old style condor to get shooting right….not worth it
daystate has burrs in the barrel…but fix that and you should be a happy camper…
AirArms 410 carbine(crb), classic(hrb) or xtra fac erb…its all good…i wuold get one of those…in an instant…!

Thats a nice gun too but they are all nice guns, you need to find out what you want in a gun, for me I chose the tss because you can make it have so much power so easily! And its so easy to take apart and modd, even if I could do it all over again I would buy the talon ss, also read around, those 1700 dollar airguns Arent getting the best reviews on quality control!! Get a TSS u wont regret it!
What about the BSA SuperTEN Bull Barrel? I found them on sale for $1100. I am new to airguns, and I want to make sure I will be happy with My purchase.
