Im waiting for a small enough cleaning rod to work it over with, then Im sure it will be better.
If I drop in the .22 or .25 barrel, it cuts dime-size holes at 50 yards with Kodiaks, and neither shoot domed EJs worth a crap. Very strange world I live in.
Hey Riff, Sorry I havent had time to get back to you. Been super busy , and I’ve answered the lapping question so many times. I think I need to see if the Admins will post it as a sticky. Several people here have let me know that it has helped their groups out. Helps with leading too! 😀

Most of that old sage advice is for long range shooting with springers. The .20 will usually do better in them. our guns are whold different story! What we want is accuracy, velocity, and weight to make it worth while to get the pellet down range where it can do the most good. The extra weight of the .22, adn especially the .25 really helps in the changing wind gust we have here in Texas!
Results with my .20 barrel have been very similar. Eunjins shoot better than anything else so far. Whatever reason, my barrel sprays kodiaks very badly no matter how I set up for them.

I doubt I could ever find the page I read about some airgunners acount on what the best caliber is for airguns, of course it’s quite a subjective subject, but for some, it usually goes something like this… forget about .177 or .22, and pick between .20, or .25. I don’t hear about the .20 so much, but when I do read accounts/reviews on this particular cal, it’s almost always very good, with the only complaint maybe being the selection of brands/weights (Kinda like the .25 I figure) The .25 is more well known here obviously, with a growing fan base it seems. But there is no doubt that quite a few swear by the .20 and are very happy with them.
not bad……….have you tried the same shotgroup with kodiacs? would be interested to see the comparison. been contemplating a .20 cal for a while.

The biggest problem i had was with the throathing of the Walther barrels. My first .20 wouldn’t group at all, but once the loading area was opened up a bit, the accuracy improved dramatically. I now have a .20 HW barrel on my Talon and the loading area is perfect for ej’s and jsb’s, but too big for kodiaks.
