okay okay. i am patiently waiting. I thought with the talontunes website and all the tuning etc. this was a full time job/business. i do tons of side work too. not as fun as tonys side work but it keeps me very busy. i don’t buy much online either. i always hear a fool and his money are soon parted. i feel much better after all your good comments. thanks.
I was recently quoted 2-3 weeks. I recently got the chance to shoot a Condor with one of his shrouds, INCREDIBLE! I know everyone has already said it, but be patient, the wait WILL be worth it.

Tony told me it would take a month…and it took a month. The wait was worth it. His shroud made my .25 Condor VERY quiet. AKULA
When I asked Tony about a shroud for an SS with 18″ barrel, he quoted me 3 weeks. This was a couple of weeks ago. I think 3-4 weeks is a fairly reliable time frame. Hang in there. It will be well worth the wait.

I bought 2 shrouds from Tony and they took 3-4 weeks and I would have waited 3 monthes they are that good. These things take time. For example, I sent Blodnob a PM about a week ago and I am still patiently waiting for a reply, and you don’t see me saying anything. Serieously, though. Just give Tony some time, he is great at what he does so there is a line to wait on.
I think some folk underestimate the amount of time and effort that goes into one of these “little” jobs.
I’d love to spend all day every day in the garage. After a days work pluss a couple ov hundred mile (+/-) of travlin, all i wanna do is watch telly n go to bed.
It is a push at times.
B patiant pal.
Remember. You only get wot you pay for.
You’re buying a professional’s time and experiance here.
It’s worth the money and the wait.
I’m off to bed.
My barrel and shroud from Tony was about 4-5 weeks this spring; however the wait was VERY worth it. Shroud is awesome.
maybe put yourself together a diy version with some 1″ ali tube or get a bullseye bills frame extender (only about 50 bucks) with no wait to hold you over until tony’s comes in. you can always sell the cheaper one later. Won’t be near as quiet as tony’s but will be plenty good to shoot without alarming the neighbors.
You didn’t ask how long before you ordered?
If he has to build one from scratch you may be waiting quite a while. He has a real job like the rest of us. I don’t know how he scheduals his work, but he is has a backlog of work for sure. I know from expirence how frustrating it can be. But be paitient, If you start bugging him too much he will not be happy. You do want him happy don’t you?
Remember; “You cant rush Craftsmanship”
You will get a very nice setup from Tony.
i wish i wouldve shopped around more. maybe. i geuss i gotta just wait. thats a long time to not shoot at home.
I don’t mean to alarm you, but I just asked about delivery time for tune up and its 10 to 12 weeks. That’s not unusal for a specialist… especially those with good reputation. Patience is a virtue… good things come to those that wait… etc, etc..
Yeah… I think your going to be waiting a bit longer than you thought.
only 4 or 5 days. i kinda thought he would have one on the shelf. it seems like everyone on the forum loves his work. i will email him in a couple days to see how its going.
How long has it been?

I ordered a Talon with full tune and a shroud from Tony several weeks ago. He made sure I understood there would be a 10-14 week wait. I thought about just ordering the gun as is from a distribtor but after reading everyones opinion about Tony and his work I decided that I would just bite the bullet and wait for perfection. If I ordered it elsewhere I would probably have ended up sending it in to Tony anyway.
