making the talon more quiet
i was reading the post about how to make the SS more quiet but i have a talon with a frameextender, so i am guessing that i can do the same thing to it but i will need a different size spring and washers and o-rings. so has anyone done this to a frameextender and if so what size washers will i need? (didnt mean to post this same post in the quick reference section sorry)

you need to buy 1″ washers, mount them on a counter sinking type machine screw with some sort of locking nut (not a lock washer) to keep center, put them one at a time into a drill press, and with a file mill them to size.
from what i measured i think the size of the washers must be 29/32 of an inch but can anyone verify this size that i need that might of done this to a frameextender? (i already brought it to my local hardware store and homedepot but none have the right size i need to order it online)

did you check the “faucet repair parts” section at the hardware store? For my frameextender I found some that were made of a hard rubber/nylon material with a 3/16 hole already drilled in the center; just opened the hole up to 1/4 inch and ready to go; they were even beveled on one side.(IIRC it was 7/8 o.d.) Ive gotten some from both ACE and Lowes.
