Q:

condor valve or bottle on talonss

I just polished my top hat, made the adjustments and polished the bbl (new 18″ .22) Is it worth changing the valve to a condor valve or the tank to the condor valve? I just want to shoot kodiaks at about 900 fps or about 35 fpe – 40 fpe max. What would anyone suggest.

He is doing a complete tune on my SS. He has tuned others for me and in doing great work for the best prices I have seen.
I was worried the work would not be as good because of the lower prices, but it is because he is in the process of building a name as a good modder.
Most likely when the backlog for work is as long as everyone elses, the pricing will also reflect.

I would jump on board and support a new modder and at the same time save “mega-bucks”!!!

I don’t have the tools for doing that, anyone out there selling one modified already or willing to do one for me.? I would pay a reasonable price.

Starting with 2700psi the first shot departs around 910+fps. By the 25th shot its down to 840+fps and tank has dropped to 1800psi

Sotxguy,

How many shots are you getting with that set up?

How much air is left in your tank at the end of the string?

Thanks, I am considering this if I can get enough shots per fill?

Roger

I have a TSS 18″, .22 that shots Kodiaks in the low 900s with a 2700psi fill. Do the valve stem bore mod and change the hammer to 65~70 grams.

If you are going to do it, you will need a heavier hammer.
