silicone grease, graphite powder, or what?
I’m in the middle of an O ring change out in the breach and was wondering if I should lube the breach and the weight up with something.
What do the gurus recommend?

I also sprayed the I/d of the frame up to the preload wheel…

I cleaned everything up and spayed the weight, hammer and breach with some silicon spray and it’s drying now, should I remove the spray and run it dry or just go for it? being silicon I don’t think it will hurt anything.
give orings a dab of divers silikone grease…..where the breech slides on the barrel give it a very light coating as well, both in fron and behind the breech when, easily done with barrel out of frame….
leave hammer and everything else dry ! you can if you whish use a little bit of dry moly cote(gun store), or dry teflon (home depot or lowes) and just give it a puff where the hammer slides and then let it sit till the wet medium has evaporated…but honestly not needed….
dont get silicone grease, or any kind of grease in the barrel, it will slow you down….when people talk about lubing their pellets they are talking about 1-2 drops in a piece of lint free cloth, and then swushing them around to remove debris and give then a tiny tiny bit of a coating.

I left the silicone spry in and on, reassembled, and let me tell you it has never slid soo smooth.
if their is any chance of any thing at all going wrong because of the spray please don’t hesitate to put me in the corner with the hat on…
