Q:

Looking for new scope rings…

Can anyone here recommend decent low profile 30mm rings? I’ve come to the conclusion that high rings with the tri rail places the scope to high, so I removed the tri rail, which puts the scope just right for me, getting a more solid consistant cheek weld against the bottle. I figure if I install low rings the scope placement may be close to the same with the tri rail, which would also add the rigidity to the gun, so i could get the best of both worlds.

I went to Straight Shooters, and they do carry those BLK rings, but of course, they are out of stock right now. Why is it that any part I want, no matter what it is, is out of stock when any other part I’m not interested in is in stock lol.

BKL is notorious in not responding and sending orders. If you want BKL mounts I suggest you contact Straight Shooters.

Found the BLK site thanks to you guys. I like what I’m seeing. I found these 30mm “Offset” rings that I think will do the trick, especially with my set up. My new scope has a much longer eye relief than any previous scope I’ve owned, forcing me to mount this scope as far forward as possible, without the front ring mount going over the front edge of the stock scope rail on the gun. When the tri rail is mounted, it’s angled back at the front, which makes me have to position the scope more than a half inch back than without it. By installing this offset ring in the front, it would give me way more adjustment forward with tri rail mounted. This set looks more medium high than low profile however, I sent them a message asking if these come a bit lower. No doubt this outfit seems to make nice stuff for the price, thanks again.

I just used the BKL360 1 pieced 30mm mount last week with the tri rail on my Condor. These are rated as a medium mount but I have found the mount to be right on the money for me.. I have BKL’s on most of my guns and have a high regard for them..

Thx airtight I’ll look those up. I can find a bunch of 30mm low rings online, but with 11mm grabbers the choices drop way down

I don’t know about low profiles, but I’ve got BKL 263s on mine with a tri-rail. I think they’re medium height. I’ve never noticed the scope height to be uncomfortably low or high, so it must be just about right…
