My .25 kit was made by TimW. Good stuff, high quality. And a nice guy to boot.
I ordered a few things from Tim way back and have also spoken with him on the phone when we were both having issues with our condors.
Personally I have a few issues with him such as accusing others (lemak) of stealing his idea’s, but he’s a good machinist, offers good products and is well established.
I ordered the whole shebang from TimW; the .25 kit, the hammer-weight (which was lighter than the stock one), and brass valve-protector. Very nice bull-style crown on the barrel, with very nice bluing.
I sent him the kit along with the gun back to TimW for assembly, as I could not get it to function (breech didn’t want to fit right) even though my .22 set-up would go in easily.
Once I got it back from him (he included a lighter valve return spring as well) it displayed a lot of power shooting Kodiaks, and showed great potential for low fps variance between shots with the Logun Penetrator pellets.
I say “showed great potential” because I had a lot of problems with the air gauge on my tank, and my Hill-pPump was dead. I had no way to know what my fill pressure’s were. This, along with the limited air available form a standard scuba tank, made it impossible to tune-in the Kodiaks properly (all my scuba gauges’ fault).
I was very enthusiastic about the whole thing, but was forced to sell my “other” Black Rifle. 😥
Hopefully the guy that bought it will chime in here. I have been meaning to get a hold of him to find out what he thinks for some time now (he said he might not be able to get to shoot it for a spell when I sold it to him sometime around April).
I purchased a one piece top hat for him. tough as a nail. reliable.
TimW does good work, but last I heard he wouldn’t be taking orders again until October. You know if he is currently?
You buy the blank and i’ll do the machining ,bushes, threading blacking for you.
If you bring the crazy half of the double act he has to keep his hands in his pockets.
I dont want to be picking fingers out of machines and moping his blood up.
😕
Careful Sean, you keep talking like that you’ll end up with an apprentice. I’ll prey on your guilt…”I can’t let this chap walk without teaching him everything I know, he’ll be dead within a week…”.
Sean,
Have him wear safety glasses also…..He likes to EYEBALL stuff in the shop. And while he has 10 fingers he only has 2 eyes.

I remember seeing the goats but, the Bigfoot hunts…what’s up with that?
Does he actually search for bigfoot?
Sasquatch Hunter Baby! Sometimes people have encounters with Bigfoot and they dedicate their lives to find it again. Just like this guy in this video
I bought a treaded adaptr to fit a S410erb shroud once and the machining and finish were top notch.
