Q:

Ever use a .22rimfire barrel as a blank to make an AG bbl?

Is a .22 long rifle barrel the same size as .22 pellet gun rifles?

Rifling too deep or is it .001 too big or small or some such nonsense that would make it not work worth a darn?

I have an unused ruger 10/22 barrel that I could machine down in a lathe and make custom bushings for, so it’s a free-to-me 22″ blank if it would work.

I would like to get my hands on a 24inch .22lr barrel turned to fit a condor, and try out some rim fire projectiles,

Anybody got one for sale? Its a bitch to get parts here.

ive used dozens with great success on pistols and rifles , most are as tight as a ag barrel , as good as most crosman barrels atleast .
never tred a .22 magnum , it may work well for a .25 pellet gun barrel .

I tried that – normal pellets are too loose!

Airgun barrels have a slightly smaller bore than a 22 rimfire.

I see no troble using that barrel for ‘big’ pellets like the Eun Jins and you would be able to use the 0.223″ Daystate Ranger pellets.
Give it a go and let us know how it works out. Interested to know for sure myself.
