Opinions on scopes with "target dot" recticles?
I saw one in the store the other day, and I’m considering the pluses and minuses of them.
Anyone have one? Ever use one? Any opinions yea or nay?

Like shrpshtr said, target dot scopes typically have very thin cross hairs by design. They are not suitable for hunting purpose but they are the favourite of bench rest shooters. The dot gives you 360 degrees reference with the 10 ring of the bull-eye rather than quadrants. The thin cross hairs will not distract from the vision of the wind flags also. HTH
