stealth SSS Fac 177

Hello im new to the forum and have joined in desperation really 🙁
Every body has told me how great stealths are with a bit of tweaking so i purchased a FAC rated 177 version with 24 ” barrel to fill a spare slot on my fac as i have a work shop and love to tinker.
well the power curve is so massive i just cant hunt with it at all, any thing over 1700psi and the power drops drastically under 1700 psi with 15 grain exterminators i can get 37ftlb but id rather have a consistent 22 ftlb and fair ammount of shots per charge.
The standard valve that came with the gun is soooo big 177 pellets will fit inside 😯 and im wondering if this is the problem.
any advice would be gratefully recieved

Yes thats a problem – You don’t put the pellets in the valve.. you put the pellets in the barrel.
