Q:

a question about Micro-Meter tank

hello, 🙂 i’m from Spain and i don’t speak english very well…sorry 😳

well, i have a new Condor and two tanks: Spare Tank and Micrometer Tank.

Today i made the first shooting with it 😆 but with the Micro-Meter Tank, when i have made my first shot, much air escapes from the Tank, and at the second shot, the air escape continuosly until it is finished 😥 😥 😥 . My tank is empty 😕 😕

With the other one, the Spare Tank, i shoot well 🙂

Please, can someone help me with this problem with the Micrometer? How can that happen? 😥 😥 😥 😥

I thing that you understand me ( i have used Google Translate to help me 😉 )

Thanks for your great forum 😉

Well I hope the first response is the right area for yours to be fixed dude… I have a Micro valve as well and mine did this and all that was wrong with mine was the valve jam nut that holds the valve assembly together was never tightened.

I had to remove the valve from the tank and just take a 1/2″ open end wrench take the brass jam nut out and recenter the spring on the valve head and then make sure the thin nylon washer was there and not going to get mashed up all wrong as I screwed the jam nut back down by hand. Then once it was all flush to the valve body take the wrench and snug down really good. Doesn’t have to be smashed up with alot of torque, but does need to be tight so as its shot it want back off as mine did.

Yours was probably never snugged up to begin with much less tightened… Hopefully you want have such a problem getting the valve out of the tank to check this… Let us know what you find out dude PLZ…

Hi Condorsniper 😀

Sounds like your spring and hammer are too strong/heavy for the micro tank.
Reduce preload on the spring(power selector down)
Or get a stronger spring in the valve return.

I’m sure if this is wrong the boys will let you know what else to try… 😀
