how many good shots on high with the Condor?
I’m thinking of selling my Career 707 in .25 and getting a Condor with a 24″ .25 barrel.
with the air set for high FPS shots, about how many shots can I expect to get?
my talon SS has me spoiled, and I’d like more then the 8 or so shots the career will give me on high, while out in the woods.

I haven’t done this test, but i’m figuring someone here has. Are you noticing a loss of accuracy at or above 100FPS? From what i’ve read I THINK it’s supposed to be better around 900-950???

I use heavier hammer. 2900PSI=full power shots right away. 22 shots with Kodiaks at 1030-1040 fps average with the extreme spread of only 30 fps. Can stretch it to 30 shots for sure, but no need for that: love the consistency of the first 20 shots.

one and the same, just use a somewhat lower fill pressure in the condor tank so the valve operates well.

Just wondering, is this with the same hammer you speak of that works with the Talon and Condor tank, or is this hammer even heavier to get those numbers?
25 shots, especially with a 42 gr at 900+ would be fine.
I did some chrony work with my career yesterday, and at full power on a 2800 fill, I’m getting about 1050 FPS with a crow mag, dropping to about 980 on shot 6, after that it drops like a rock. at the power wheel on a low setting, I get about 940 with the crow mag and get about 18 shots.
So a Condor (or a .25 cal rebuild for my TSS is definitely in my future
Mine is a TSS w/ 24″ .25 bbl, New style condor tank, heavy hammer. From a 2500 fill I get 25 shots starting about 950, high of 1015, and back down to 930fps. Ending 1600psi. I can shoot more but at ranges more than 40yd poi starts to shift pretty noticably, especially at 100yd. If shooting more than 50yd I’ll generally topoff after 20 shots.
Dave, I get 20 full power shots with 42 gr EJ at 86 FPE, and 22 shots with 31 gr. Kodiak at 73 FPE.
Here’s a shot string and graph etc of my Condor with 24″ .25 cal.
From that I figured 20 shots before I’d refill, I’m sure I could shoot more than that and not notice a change in POI though….

.25 Kodiak is super accurate even at 1040 FPS=73 FPE. It is more accurate that 42gr. EJ at 950 FPS.
However, light slugs would not behave as well at 1000+FPS speeds.
