valve stem pulled out
i was just adjusting the hieght of my top hat on my condor and noticed the top hat does not seem to be threaded on, so i started prying the top hat up to get hieght and the entire top hat attached to the valve stem came completely out! i tried at first to unscrew the top hat to gain hieght but noticed the entire valve stem was spinning with it

Yes, it’s threaded. And I suspect that when you turned it down you jammed the threads?
As long as you have the valve stem out, why not put a toothpick through the two holes in the stem as a lever and thread the tophat up a bit before putting it back?

i bought the gun new with the new valve
i loosend the grub screws but isnt the top hat sapposed to be threaded? i was able to screw the top hat down but when i wanted it to come up a little it would just turn the whole valve stem and then i tried pulling the top hat off from the top and the whole valve stem pulled out with it,
Did you buy the gun new or used?
If it’s used, it may have one of tim’s one piece valve stems/tophats.
You did loosen the grub screws, right?

Push it back in and press it is really good. It will seat itself inside the delrin valve seal.
U will be fine.

OK, so I’m in new territory here. So stem removal simply means prying it out and just pushing it back in? What holds it in in the first place, and is this the same as the Talon valve?
