looking for a chrony
can anyone recommend a good chrony i can use inside my house too measure the velocity of my air rifles

I’ve got the prochrono digital, works great, no complaints. I just wanted something other than the Chrony brand to be different.
Anybody familiar with the “Digital Pro” chronograph? I know someone who is selling a brand new one I think for $125.00 and wonder if it’s worth it. Sorry don’t have brand/company name off hand, but it’s a major brand I can’t remember.
If your indoor shooting area has flourescent lighting you will need the light kit or other incadescent light for the chrony to read properly. If you have good light in the room (non-flourescent) the light kit will probably be unnecessary.

No, you just need good even lighting. The detachable display is a nice feature (that’s what i have) it makes it very convienent.
what about those indoor ligth do you need those
Any of the “Shooting Chrony” Chrony’s will work. No difference in accuracy between them, some have more features than others or come with detachable displays. I find myself not using the memory features of mine because its complicated and I just end up losing a string.

You might need to buy the lamp assembly to use it inside unless you want to rig up your own lamps. They need a good source of light over each sensor (they have one in front, other in back and it detects the change in light as the pellet/bullet/arrow/paintball passes over them so good light is essential.
