Ok so as you all may know I just got a 24″ .25 barrel, brass hammer, high flow tank/valve and new breech (slap modded). so I tested her 2 days ago. Then because she was so loud I switched her back to mostly I took out the barrel and put the 12″ .22 barrel, nice and quiet.
Anyway yesterday I decided, Hey I spent some good money, on some good stuff. I am going to use it! I put the .25 back in and went back out to do a little test. Betty set all the way down low as she goes went through 3/4″ plywood. I was 😯 😮 . (I was using kodiacks.) That”s all

Jerry I just got off the phone with Glenn. And he is going to bring out his chrony next Sunday. So then we will give it a go. Took Lizzy apart last night gave her a good cleaning shooting realy good to day. 42 yards 8 shots in the kill zone. I be live we are ready to try to take a coon. Hopping it will be quite the mess. 😈 😈
Obviously its time to trade her in on a faster model! 😆
I was actually wondering if you had numbers from similar slugs not the exact same ones…. Having two chrony’s ste-up would be the optimum but using similar slugs and average numbers is probably just as good.
Jerry, I don’t have them right now. I’ll see what I can get done at the fun shoot on the 27th- get some of the guys to help me out. Had my wife hold the chrony about 3 feet off the barrel but as hard she tried just couldn’t make it to the target fast enough. Poor thing just ain’t as young as she use to be. 😀
Do you have chrony numbers for those slugs near the muzzle? I was just thinking that maybe one of the guys who use Chairgun could figure out the BC from your numbers…
Jerry’s slugs do hit hard had some free time today, so I set up the chrony up at 42 yards put 5 shoots in a nice little cluster and they averaged 746 fps and a whopping 80.84 fpi 😈 Stopped after that have all ready put one chrony in the grave yard. 😳
You guys clearly need some heavy slugs to tame those beasts… 😆
That’s sweet, I Tried mine at 25 yards with a 2×4 and it went clean through 2″ of wood with Eujin 42.8gr pellets. My hole rig was be done up by Tony.
The 25 rocks ! Awesome power. I still like my 22, but I have to have both.

I’m glad the heavy slugs are working well for you. I can’t wait to see some hunting pictures! BTW, is Glenn faster than your wife? 😛
