The .25 Killer Condor is mine
I just took possession of my new Tony Tuned .25 Condor w/12 in barrel. I haven’t even shot the gun yet but I had to sit back and just look at the gun. I had to grab the camera and get some first photos of my new little beast. Testing the condor will begin this evening. I am told by the previous owner that she is shooting Kodiak’s at 55 fpe. I can’t want to find out for myself.

The Condor actually belongs to my 12 yr old Son, so I doubt that it will be up for sale anytime soon. To him, this gun is a status symbol when he gets around the adults and other hunters he hangs with.. Mucho macho Man ya know…
Cool. If you’re successful in making it pretty quiet so it could be a stealthy, compact hunter, that’d be great. I’d be interested if you ever decide to sell it, too.
The beast is still roaring a bit and I imagine you read about my issue trying out a custom shroud. The gun really isn’t all that bad to be honest with you. It just isn’t very neighborhood friendly and a bit noisy for a stealthy hunting adventure. My search for a nice shroud continues. I might just have something in the works on that though.
Could you give us an update on the noise issue? Had any success in quieting that fabulous looking .25 ?

I asked a about sound supp. and have not got any heart replies. I will say that in my studies I have found & read & found that an exhaust or exit is NEEDED for the mechanics of SS to work. One needs to reroute the pressured air like in a maze; thus “tiring” it out\slowing it down. The chambers need to be from small to opening up larger so as to take more molicules to fill up the space and so slowing it down. Reverse of let’s say a turbine that narrows so to increase speed of flow. Just the opposite. A very important point here is the sound barrier pressure! This is what’s to be decreased or eliminated happening with our air guns of this nature.

Hey Man I just now notice this last post and I apologize for that. The overall length of the Condor is 33 inches. As far as how loud she is, I would have to say that it is way too loud for a neighborhood environment is the neighbors are out and about. I am going to work on the noise factor tomorrow for sure. All that there is inside for internals is 1 long spring. I am going to put in a couple of short springs with fender washer and rubber spacers and see if I can quiet this beast down. I will let you know if I lam successful…

The mounts are BKL 263s or “double strap.” I love BKL rings.
