cheap scope @ 100m shooting

I have a 3.5-10×40 scope which is copy of Leupold M3，the quality is cheap and cost about $50 delivered from ebay. people use it on airsoft BB gun in china mostly. just for the look of it…

i received my new condor .20 recently, for 100m target shooting i normally use Zos 10-40×50 and set it at 24X or 40X. however.. i just wanna try some small mag long range shooting….and decided to use that cheapy scope for 100m shooting today… the weather was nice… just sometime wind picks up quickly and dies… can’t complain…

my new AIRFORCE CONDOR .20, it killed 2 HW silencers so far, got 1 fixed and tried today, only last 1 shot then got killed again, the way this condor kills the silencer wasn’t caused by pellet chip the internal part or anything, but after the pellet fly out the silencer, the negative pressure behind of the pellet suck and squeezing the inside material together… which completly block the pellet travel passage. this kind of thing i hav never seen before.

I set scope at 10X and compensated 4 mil-dot. there is no bench in the field just by standing next to bakkie bonnet and rest bipods on…grouping 1.

grouping 2, when i busy shooting.. suddenly the stronge wind picks up… i decided not wait till the wind to calm down… instead i just take a quick shot into the stronge wind and see what happens in that kind of condition…hehe… the wind actually shifts my POI about 3 inch to the left… it’s good exercise and nice to know about the result.

after done enough 100m shooting with 10X, then I crank the scope to minimum mag setting… 3.5X !!! and shoot with it at 100m range… now everything became so small in that 3.5X scope… but nice to try out… 5 shots fired… 3 shots were tight… 1 shot touched edge… and last 1 off the target..

i think i should be pretty comfortable with small mag scope for long range shooting with rangfinder….

what next? open sight? maybe…hehe
