Will striker weight hurt Talon valve?
Would a striker weight be bad for the talon valve? Even if PW pe-load was on 0?

My stock hammer weighed about 45 grams. So your looking at about 65 grams total with your added weight.
Thx, one more thing, I just weighed my striker weight that came with the Condor tank. It weighs 0.7 oz, which converts to just under 20 grams. I forgot to measure the weight of my hammer when I had it out today. You guys know what the weight of a stock SS hammer is? If no one knows, no biggie, I’ll weigh it next time I change barrels. I’m interested in combined weight of stock hammer/striker.
The only scenario it could cause any damage with would be if the valve was at an angle to the rest of the gun. Getting pounded by the hammer would bend and possibly break it.
Of course, it would also be bad even with a normal hammer, so as long as you haven’t had a problem before, it should be fine with a big hammer.
I tried a 70 gram hammer in my talon and all it did was increase the velocity by about 20 fps, and decrease shot count from 60+ to 20.
