My new Talon SS is ready to go!
Got my Talon all set up. Even christened it on to squirrels! Man I love this thing. You guys were right, I’m addicted already. I think I even like it better than my custom Ruger 10/22 because its so quiet (I haven’t even baffled it yet). I just need a wokbutt (for now HA HA). This is such a great forum. Thanks guys!!

What kind of power are you getting from your ( I assume) stock SS?
It seems my power level does not change from setting 6 on up to 13. I am shooting 10.6 gr .177 at 860 and 14.3 gr .22 at 800sih. Is that what you are getting?
Also how easy is it to remove your Harris bi-pod? Is is something you install back and forth or do you just leave it on?

That’s about right for a stock SS. the 12″ barrel just cant use all the air provided by higher pw settings. You can get another 75+fps out of her with a good valve tune.

I haven’t put it on a chrony yet so I don’t know what kind of power I’m getting. As for the bipod, I will usually keep it on but it is extremely easy to take of (takes about 5 to 8 secs) to take off.
