Q:

Tri rail

Has anyone had a problem with a Tri rail not being long enough to reach from one end of the dove tail on the frame to the other? Do Tri rails come in different lengths?

If somebody with a short trirail would like to trade for a long one I’ve been looking for a shorter one and would be happy to exchange.

Wait, maybe I didn’t read all the posts correctly, but I thought all the tri rails were made the same length, it was just the scope rails on the guns that were longer, or shorter… maybe I got that wrong…

Your right – All the Tri-Rails are the same length.

Generally speaking – Condors have a longer Scope Rail than an SS or a Talon.

Appreciate that offer lmtss… but I’ve been looking for 30mm low profile 2 piece offset like what baz has, but low profile, like this photo, I think these are medium height.

Thx for that link Lou, only thing is I need 30mm rings. It looks like baz’s rings are 30mm, not sure. Did some searching online for 30mm low profile, but they’re hard to find since scopes with tubes that big usually have a objective bell that’s to big and will hit most rifle barrels with rings that low. Not an issue obviously with AF guns, as the scope rail is already plenty high enough.

I have a one piece 30mm if you want it pm me.

baz, what scope mounts are those? I’m looking for set like that, low profile with the offset front ring. Price? link? Thx

Yes! shrpshotr28 is right, baz ! it was “Gunpower Stom” not 3 years old , is diffrence company . i got one also, that’s a good item, also the trirail put on Condor will look shot, but put on TSS will fit.

baz:

The tri rail mounted on my SS fits exactly as yours. It’s about 3 years old now, bought here in the U.S. I’ve seen pictures of other’s rifles that were both like ours and some that were flush on both ends. I always wondered about that too.

It looks to me that my frame is chunkier in this area. Trust me to get the shitty end of the deal. Looks like i’ll have to find another way to raise the scope on this one.

Did AF change frame design? It looks like Baz’s rail has more beef to the front of it.

Seeing his post in mods section, appears to be a gunpower storm frame, similar to our condor, ie longer top rail than the talon/stealth

Yours is a stealth correct? i can’t see a powerwheel. that might be the difference.

Appears that the top rail on yours is longer than our u.s. talon/tss.

Far as I know all the tri-rails are the same.

Something screwy with yours. This is my trirail on a TSS.
