thats some purrrrty guns you guys have here =)

quote koja48:

Nice, photo . . . is that a big Leapers on that? If so, which model? I have 3 & love every one of them.

Yeah it’s the big 32 power Leapers and for the cost it’s not bad for FT. The rig weighs in at 12.35lbs mainly due to the Lam. stock.

koja48 That red SS is sweet, also love the blue 10/22 😯
My blue HW FT Lam

nice gun,
Steve Corcoran does fantastic work, I’ve had several grips made by him, they fit like a gloves. I’m going to have him make a stock for my SS one of these days.

How much for that 97? 😛 I like blue.

Avatar? I love it when people talk dirty! I “smith” on a semi-professional level, gear-head with the best of them, shoot like I was trained at some point in time, but I compute on a basic survival/extreme frustration level . . . the AAA was a gift to myself . . . something I didn’t have to build & I am absolutely delighted with it.

This 97 is kind of pretty, too, but I bought it that way. Damn accurate, but I don’t shoot it much anymore. I must have liked blue (until I discovered red . . . ).

Lol. No prob. You should set it as your avatar!

Thanks, jooleyen!

That red looks so cool with the black gun. And that blue…WOW. Nice job…

All better. 😛

You folks flatter me . . . in my mind, 10/22 mods are easier than Talon/Condor mods, or perhaps familiarity makes it so. Thanks for the nice words.

Talk about a bunch of ball busters.
Oh myself included.

Beautiful SS, and that 10-22…. WOW, what a amazing piece, a true work of art. Very nice!

Now, about that white washer/spacer….. 😆

Thats some nice woodwork!

Sorry, can’t part with the 10/22 . . . too much time & money invested in that labor of love (unless I build another one in red, lol . . . need another winter project.). Only original parts remaining are the magazines (tuned), receiver, and bolt (which I jeweled). Pillar-bedded action screw & bedded receiver. Maintains 5-shot groups off the bench with match ammo @ 50-yards consistently < 3/8″ & closer to 1/4″ or one-ragged-hole if I do my part. With the scope cranked-up to 25-power, rodents can’t hide. You could dang near buy a new 10/22 for what I paid for the 2-stage Kidd trigger alone, but it is sweet!
