Big Boy vs Kodiak and JSB Exact Jumbo’s

Hi Ya all, I ran some velocity and accuracy tests today in my Talon SS.
Mind you the talon has a 70 gram hammer and an 18″ barrel.
The power wheel is set at 10:8 and the top hat is set at .75.
Here is what I got useing 5 shot strings.

Kodiaks 21.1 gr. tank filled @ 2900psi

Predator Big Boy 26.2 gr. tank filled @ 2900psi

The JSB’s fit pretty loosley in the barrel and I believe that is the reason I used more air for these 10 shots than I did with the Kodiaks and the Big Boy’s. The Kodiaks and Big Boys fit the barrel tighter.

Mind the group size is up to the shooter and I’m sure some of you can shrink the size down a bit.

I think the Predator Big Boy pellets are a good pellet and they hit harder than the Kodiaks. They group just about as well. The only drawback is the cost. At 8 cents a shot for the Big Boy’s I think the Kodiaks are my kind of pellet.
