Q:

Any hard cases under 30", but over 24"

Doskocil 10505 seems like the only choice for a TSS, any alternatives?
Pelican, SKB, Storm, Seahorse, and the like skip over the 24″ lengh and go from 18″ right to 34″.

The Doskocil (now owned by Plano) is the same case as seen on TalonTunes “SS to go” page:

I am leaning towards buying one of those, any other suggestions for a TSS case that is compact?

Talon/Talon SS

This is the one I’ve been looking at. Seems like the perfect size.

Here is another link for a winchester case. it is only 31 7/8″ long inside is 31 3/8″. It costs a little bit more than the case your looking at but the foam inside is a high density foam and it has straps inside to hold your gun in place. I almost bought it instead of the other one above because I could fit my Talon ss in it, but I couldn’t fit the Condor in it.

I’ve been looking at this one, may go for it. Alumi case that will fit unshouded Condor with tank removed. But I think shroud, tank, and all the odds and ends will fit. Seems like a good price as well. A bit more compact.

I have one of the Pro Tech double shotgun take down cases in camo pattern from “Cheaper Than Dirt”. It is 37″ X 15″ X 4 1/2″. I can fit my condor w/24″ with shrouded barrel, tank, refill adapter, and pellets in it with no problem.
I think they are out of the camo pattern cases but still have the silver cases in stock. here is a link.

I have one I use for long pistols that is aluminum. Inside dimensions are 24 1/2″ x 12 1/2″. Don’t know what brand it is.

Try searching hard cases for compound bows instead of guns. compact in length and wide enough to accommodate scopes and accessories.
