I need some help from the Air Arms S400/410 owners..
..I purchased the new Air Arms S400ERB SL and soon found out that the trigger I have on the gun is nothing like the one in the owner’s manual. I looked at the MPR FT trigger and this one looks just like it from the photo. Can anyone tell me just what I have here…? This is the first 400/410 I have ever looked at close.

So the MPR trigger is a drop in replacement for a 400/410? Where do you get it, and how much does one cost? And most important, does it make enough difference to be worth what it costs? I have a S400E, and I certainly have no complaints with the trigger, but I’m always interested in something better. BTW, the 400 is probably going to end up being almost exclusively a bench gun, my FX Cyclone will be my field gun. Later.

Now Sitting in front of the TV is a good idea. Bori really did set up the trigger nice for me. All I have done to the trigger so far is set it up to shorten the LOP and turn it a bit to the side so I have a nice flat shoe for my finger to rest on. It is feather light right now and that is how I like it. It is so close to my EV-2 it is scary.. To be quite honest the gun fits me better than the EV-2..
Your gona love that trigger DAD. It will brake in and get lighter so don’t make it too light right now. My AA S410 EXTRA FAC is set at 6.1oz on the second stage and it’s settled right in nice after many trigger pulls. I use to just watch TV and pull the trigger to help the rubber o-rings get better.
I am happy to hear that. I know today when I was setting up the gun; I was very impressed with the trigger action. I seemed to be pretty darn close to the EV-2 trigger. I didn’t have the EV-2 with me to really compare but a very nice trigger indeed. A lot nicer than I expected..
I believe that the stock AA Trigger is more a sporting trigger and the MPR trigger is more a target shooting orientated trigger.
If your going to use the gun for FT then yeah, I’d say it was a good thing.
I really dislike appearing ignorant but is that a good thing.. ????

You said MFR, but obviously meant MPR – Multi Purpose Rifle…. and thats the trigger they put into it for you.

I believe if you contacted Bori at Top Guns he may be able to source one of the MPR trigger for you. I have no idea what the cost would be or if it is a simple replacement procedure. Bori is a great guy and I am sure he would be willing to help you out. It is a very very nice trigger.
