question about talon/condor co2
why dont they just fill the regular tank with co2? why do they need to buy a co2 tank and completed it with co2 adapter?

i have thought about that to, because the way i have my tank set up it would be easy, but i sure would not want to let all the air out to put in co2 becauxe all i have is an handpump. i have two 20 pound co2 tanks and one is set up for filling paintball tanks. just do not want to seart from zero with a pump ever again. also do not ever overfill co2 tank, i have on blow a rupsure disk in my living. lots of co2, confined space, not good!!!! personally i perfer air

CO2 is a tricky gas. a “full” tank is really only about 1/3 of the internal tank volume in “liquid” form. It is relatively easy to overfill if you don’t know the volume for the tank by weight.
An overfilled tank will become a hazzard rather quickly when the temperature changes. see the chart below.

an overfilled tank changes pressure VERY rapidly with just a 10-20 degree change in ambient temp. And our hpa tanks don’t have a burst disk at 1800 but rather 4500 psi.
Wouldn’t hurt anything but would need to calculate a proper co2 fill volume based on our tank internal volume and fill by weight.
