Q:

The Fedex Santa came today.

Or should I say, I took yesterday off to be home so that I could sign for the delivery, they never showed. They came today during the 5 minutes the wife walked the dog. I just got back from the distibution center where the fine folks at Fedex allowed me to wait for ‘my’ truck at the security hut and pulled the packages as the truck came through.

Anyway… the new SS is home and I’m very exicted. As soon as I get it together I’ll throw up a pic (not that anyone doesn’t know what an SS looks like) but I also want to show off a couple of the silenced targets I’ve been playing with while waiting. They have worked great so far with the cheapy crossman 1008.

For now, gotta go pump more so I can get off at least 1 or 2 shots before I go to bed.

Thanks to all those here who unknowingly inspired my PCP choice.

Jeff

Wasn’t sure how it would be packaged. If the contents were obvious I probably would have gotten fired for having a weapon at work.[/quote]

I had mine delivered to work, and I’m in a bank building! I asked about the packaging and was promised it didn’t look like a rifle box and would be non-descript, it turned out fine. But I understand your point of view.

Good luck and have fun!

Been there done that… I have enough money into my ‘mild’ offroad jeep to have bought a couple of rather nice cars….

Mine came to day too: Talon SS in 22 w/laser, leaper 4-16×50 illuminated reticle scope, and airhog frame extension package, and a free CO2 adaptor. :4

Your screwed! Now you wont have any time of anything else!! 😀

Ditto on the welcome and congrats on the gun. You’re gonna love it.

Laughing about your story though. I thought I was the only one who calls in sick to work the day something is to be delivered, only to be sitting on the crapper when the doorbell rings. You run to the door all while trying to get your britches pulled up only to see the brown truck driving away in a cloud of dust up the road….. 😆 😆 😆
