Especially the ring around the muzzle… make it Hunter Orange and it’d look like an airsoft gun.

Yep that is the idea to distinguish it from a real firearm. I’m not finished with the colored electrical tape just yet either. Eddie Van Halen put electrical tape on his guitar as a styling feature, and that is where I got the idea. I can always take it off if feel like it.
urban toy camo. not a bad idea. maybe add a couple paintball stickers too 😉
Seems like a good idea if your going to be carrying it around where people might see you. Instead of calling the SWAT team they will think your just a big kid playing with a toy gun. Could have some benefits if you can deal with the laughs and finger pointing.
