Is stock setup best for efficiency?
I don’t want to go with a heavier hammer because I don’t need more power, I just want to get more shots out of a tank fill.
Besides valve mods and micrometer tank, is there anything that can increase efficiency just by swapping parts out?
For example, what if a stronger spring was used with a lighter hammer – would the air tank valve opening be “deeper” but quicker? How would this affect efficiency? How would it affect pellet flight?
Just looking for some ideas

I have ordered a micro tank, and have the CO2 thingy also. I have my crosman CO2 stuff stock, and my talon SS is stock too; me think the manufacturers know best, but some guys don’t.
If you mess with it, you will not be able to get your investment out should you decide to sell.
How many shots are you getting now and at what fill pressure and what velocity.

welcome to the form, I would say just shoot it and do a bit of top hat fine tuning and you’ll be set
