very good job and idea!!!! i was wondering if you used primer, i have never had luck with paint sticking to alum. maybe the anodizing would help it stick, let my know how the durable it is. i have a muzzle loader i am going to camo, and i really like the idea with that paint!!!!

One of my favorite movies.
The gun functions fine. I put tape over the power wheel and the scope markings. Then I spray painted every thing.
And yes I am in Bakersfield SoCal.

I did not use primer. It seems to be holding up fine with normal use.
