Leaks in Dragon Slayers

Leaks in Dragon Slayers might also come from the parts in the pictures posted below . If air is audibly leaking from the end of the airtube when you refill the gun and bleed off the air hose thats hooked to the scuba tank or, you come out to shoot your gun and notice that it is empty and you have checked to see if air is leaking from either the breech or coming out of the end of the barrel and it’s not, then it could be also leaking from these parts. See below:

I simply used an old leather belt and wrapped it around this part while in my vise and simply turned the gun with little effort. It was not on that tight nor did they epoxy it on. THANK GOD!! It wasn’t THAT loose either.

This part was not the one that was leaking but, the oring was very hard and brittle. It broke as i gently squeezed it. Glad i had a reason to take the gun apart. I simply replaced it with the proper size o-ring and lubed it with Divers Silicon:

Now, this was the part leaking. It had a nice deep groove worn into it from were it sits inside the assembly. Went to my local hardware store and replaced it. If you cannot find the part, then you can simply FLIP it over and use the other good side. I also lubed it up with Divers Silicon. Every o-ring in the assembly was dry and damaged to some degree:

Here is that assembly. The needle like part is 2 pieces. The stem screws into the part in the pic posted above. This assembly is the part that is right under the refill air inlet port. It is the INLET valve for the AIRTUBE. This is the part that lets in the rushing air when you fill up your gun. It also has a spring that helps close it when you bleed off your refill line:

BEFORE you put the assembly all back together and begin to screw it into the airtube…REMEMBER to also check the 2 big o-rings (in the 1st picture at the top of this post) that are on the base of the assembly. Those also keep the airtube from leaking. There are 3 places on this assembly that have orings and either 1 could lead the airtube to leaks. When replacing 1 ORING…………REPLACE EM ALL!!!!!
