Top Hat to Tank distance

8) Hey? I just heard about “Top Hat adjustment”. I mensioned to a guy from here that with my 18″ barrel; That 70 yard away inside the house people (hunters) thought my Talon was a .22 rimfire that looked real NICE. He (after conveying about gun details) several times mensioned my valve was (at first) to far out. As further discussion, he said that, to him it was probably around .80 too far out! Or (I’m thinkN he meant written like this .80?), way OUT! That sure I’ve been using my gun power dial some (I mensioned that I’m usualy @ 9 with 12″ barrel & 11.5 with 18″). I was then “informed” that the “Top Hat’s” asjustments ARE the real basis of power setting and NOT the POWER Dial on the gun! If so, please EXPLAIN 2 ME this Air Force Air situation.
I am finding A LOT of things that them (“Air Force”) I wish had been-briefed\enightened on\knowledged about, as buying That\This gun!. I was into developement enough that I got a DVD with my rifle, but this probably was papered knowledge then also. Go to the beginning of this page and please EXPLAIN 2 ME What he may meant about the valve (TopHat) adjusting… Can “I” do this, Just a Scorpioo thinkN Layman?
