The guy that makes custom wood for AF Rifles
Is he a member here? I have a proposition for him. My father in law owns Exotic Woods here in Oregon and I just bought a giant maple burl from him. How much burl would I need to send to get a set of grips made for free? 😀 and could I throw in more to get some people here on this site a special deal?

your stuff looks awesome. I know we ship around the world but its usually large quantities. If shipping is not too crazy I will ship some your way. But I only have about 1500 pounds of it so it will go quick. 😉
as i said mate it,s just a pitty . i,ve just got myself a lump off english walnut that cost me an arm and a leg to buy so i,m tottaly broke .i bit off wood for me cost around $4-500 for enought to do two full stocks not to good

I just got an email from Steve,
he said that he does trade for work sometimes, but he did not seem interested in the burl, he did ask about english walnut though. I will see how much of that we have but I know that goes really fast here.

if you do a little leg work and see how much it would cost to ship from say portland oregon to you, I will get you a great deal on wood if you pay shipping. I dont know but that might save you money. I know how much they pay for this wood.
