Q:

32gr pellet, TIGHT fit, rifling good?

I’ve some heavy pellets @ 32gr. that since the beginning of tin tin, have been “way to tight” a fit in my barrel. They are about 5.5mm and I’m thinking my barrel is about 4.43mm. My still alltime faves are the 28gr.
So yesterdeay I’m out shooting off my 32gr and because of the “drag, friction and all of the TIGHT fit, I needed to put my gun pwr. whwwl up to #11 (in only a 12” barrel). Pretty damn heavy winds today, almost 4000′ above sea level and colllD! Scope is set @ 40 yds. being center. I raised up almost 3.75 mil and square hit 2 outa 3 shots at 50yds.Then, loaded the favorite 28gr and had to RAISE UP .25 mil!!
One of the guys said that the “tight fit” made the large 32 gr rifle spinn and take flight real well! Cool, great,; But the 28 gr should rifle well enough (they are snuggly fitting also). ?
I’m going Friday to King County Washington, and have not many pellets to hunt with (each one shot, has to be THE KILL) and the net. not mailing intime, I need to get some high 20’s grain pellets from a store! Called around Kent, Auburn, and Covington with nothing better than 14 gr .22cal or bogus .177. Do you know any off name dealers to get some real pellets at? You know I mean drive up park and buy?
And, I saw the GAMO .22 shot shells, thought about’m but A\ I have a great rifled barrel (AirForce) & not to mension they are 2mm larger diameter than what my barrel will take. I was going to use them in one of my SS barrels; Would it not be good for the barrel?

MOSLY: My first comment on 32grain (TIGHT FITTING) and rifling. & If anyone familiar with King County (Puget Sound) Washington, Who’s got some serious .22cal pellets? (high grain)????

Cool. Hope great info. results this..
