Q:

AR-15 air rifle???

I was wondering if anyone has actually seen one of these or got to shoot one?

Looks pretty damn cool 😯

I am sure it would be better converted to PCP and with a barrel shroud.

It’s my understanding that this is a prototype pictured… but I may be mistaken and/or full of shit.

I think that it is very cool and a good idea. I guess what I really meant to say is that it would be nice if they figured out a proper retaining ring similar to the original Stoner design. I also noticed that the pellet looked out of line with the bolt probe, but figured that the pellet would rise up an incline and would align properly once in the chamber.

I have often thought it would be great if some of our pellet rifles were patterned after our favorite powder burners: AR-15, AK, M-14, Thompson, etc.. This would be especially cool if powered with HPA.

I really like that cool hose clamp that holds the handguard together. That’s classy.

No kidding and if you look real close at the bolt it doesn’t even look like it will strike the pellet in the middle…

$750 piece of crap! 😯

Looks just like a Nigerian email scam to me!

Right… hence my comment on a ‘Whole’ gun.

I’d suspect the primary consumer for that type of gun would be an AR competitor who already has a lower. I simply cannot see anyone buying a lower and that pellet gun upper just to have a cool toy.

Thats 750 plus you have to have an AR lower correct? Better triple that price.

Was discussed just a couple posts down.

It’s pretty new and my suspicion will be used by those using AR’s to compete with. For the regular airgunner, that $750 would be spent better on a whole gun.
