Condor Tune?
I’m just awaiting the arrival of my new .22 Condor. I would like to upgrade to a .25 heavier hammer, o-ring mod, slap mod etc… I keep hearing the term “tune” thrown around. What is a Tune exactly? I’m from Canada so sending my Condor down to the States is not an option. If I were to buy all the mods from Tony and install them myself would my gun not work well with out it being “tuned” I build and race cars as a hobby and source of income. So the word Tune might have a different meaning for me then in this context. I just don’t want a box full of parts that when installed don’t perform well right out of the box. Thanks Ron

I am glad you guys can play too! I guess its just pistols that they are so tough on. I live in NJ now and they are very strict on all weapons. I have no problem with back round checks and stuff its gotta help keep people safe but sometimes they go a little too far with restrictions. The condor would be like shooting a 30-06 in NJ . I am one of the lucky ones I have 500 acres that needs squirrel and varmint control! lOL
I real nice guy lets me hunt it for free. Only 2 others have acess. I know for canada thats a small area for nj its unheard of to have that much room for 3 guys. Well happy shooting!
Kind of in between the different States in the US. Less restrictive then New York but we just need a PAL your FFL equal for high powered airguns and firearms. Other then not shooting in cities (like in many US States) and keeping the airgun secure no big deal. I have a .223 CAR (like an M4) but with a 11.5″ barrel and getting a 5 year permit to transport and shoot at ranges took 1 phone call to get my emailed permit total time 10 minutes. Funny thing is we can have a CAR-15 with a short barrel in .223 but not an AK??
Go figure, but all in all it is pretty good just don’t do anything stupid like forgetting a Condor is like a .22 rimmie and not shooting safely.

taking apart an airforce rifle isn’t complicated. the only part that I haven’t played with is the trigger system.

Actually my P-85 9mm pistol falls under the same rules as my CAR-15. I am lucky as well to have a few places to whack gophers should have my Condor all put together in a couple of weeks when I get my new mounts.
