Q:

Condor/Talon Tank Roll Over Cheek Pad

I jumped into PCP gunning recently with the purchase of both a Condor and a Talon SS. I am more than pleased with both guns but I suspect that as time goes by I will most likely modify both depending upon my needs.

What I really am having a hard time with is the straightness of the frame and tank arrangement. It’s obvious to me the simple addition of a roll over cheek pad similar to the FX’s guns or the Logun Domin8tor and an adjustable butt pad would solve most of my objections to the fit and feel.

So…rather than reinventing the wheel I thought I’d ask:

-Is there an after market cover that could be put on the tank available?
-Is there an adjustable butt pad available?

-Has any one marketed a black leather, tooled (skull deco) roll over cheek pad that tightly laces on to the tank?
-If a cover like this existed, what would the fair market value be?

Thanks for any imput, I’m sure I’m not the only one who has thought of fabricating a cool looking leather roll over cheek pad for their Condor/Tallon SS?

Made my own from leather, snap on rather than laced, extra padding on check resting area. works fine on a larger than stock tank. Biggest negative
was stabbing myself with leather needle multiple times during construction.
Multiple snaps isolated from tank by a layer of leather to prevent the tank from being scratched. Brown in color because that was leather I first got to work with, have black leather to make another may not pad as much next model.

“ simple addition of a roll over cheek pad”

We got the WOKBUTT but I still have not found a proper check pad for these guns. I would be a nice improvement and I am still on the search for just the perfect one.. I wouldn’t pay much for the cheek pad as there are a lot of options out there that are inexpensive and I just haven’t taken the time to go on the big search..

Is there an adjustable butt pad?

There sure is. It is called the “Wokbutt” and is made by yours truly. It is a very popular upgrade and has been available for awhile now.

There are a couple designs available to choose from.

This is the popular Wokbutt:

Here is a version that uses straps to secure to the tank for greater stablity. Also popular for CO2 tanks
