It’s now shooting 14 grain pellets at 340 and goes on down from there. Indoor testing temp stays about 77 degrees. Been told warmer temperature would bring it up around 400…
I don’t see getting and extra 60 fps unless I were to get after it with a heat gun.
Needless to say I don’t think this guns for me. Shame cause it’s real cool and pretty now. 🙁

Wow, great numbers and consistency!
Mine starts at 340 with the 14 grain and goes down 5 to 10 fps per shot. I’m probably shooting too quickly however.

11.9gr Hobby 600fps
I just shot the 600 over the chrony.
550fps with Beeman FTS 14gr pellets.
Very consistant (inbetween 2 to 3FPS up and down)
I have a 14in HW barrel from MAC 1 on mine.
I haven’t tried B&A’s barrel.
I have 3 600’s. I think I am going to by a 23″barrel from B&A and cut to fit a 2250 stock to turn one of my 600’s into a rifle.
Lots of fun. I don’t shoot paper so I have a hard time hanging onto a gun if it doesn’t have adequate killing power. I may tinker with it and see what happens. At or near 500 fps with 14 gr. pellets would suit me.
What length is your barrel and and have you chronied it? Is it one of B&As and would you say it is a quality bore?

Yes, usually one edge of the pellet head. Like it’s scraping unevenly on the lead-in. From what I’ve noticed the skirt of the pellet is unscathed.
Is the pellet getting chewed up with the meisterkugeln?
It cycles fine with meisterkugeln but I’ll give the FTS a go.
Try using Beeman FTS pellets, they seem to cycle the best in my 600.

I’ll try adjusting the barrel spacing and see what happens. I don’t know what exactly is done to a “hot valve” but the gun was just completely rebuilt and refinished.
It looks like the lead-in has been polished and opened up a bit, but the pellets have and still come out chewed up. Maybe just a 600 thing…

I just shot one of my stock 600’s.
Hobby 400FPS
FTS 360FPS
Not as consistent as the one with the 14in barrel.
FYI
If your breech seal is bad, (when you take a shot) Co2 will escape around the threads where the Co2 cap goes.
I had that problem with my 14″barrel 600. (gun was shooting weak)
I rested the barrel on my wrist and when I took a shot I felt a blast of air.
Bulk tube fits into the 600 body with an o-ring that seals the air port from the tube to the barrel.
