Logun S-16Xs air rifle
I’m looking for a hourglass shaped lead free pellet that will work with the Logun S-16Xs
From what I understand the clip for this gun is kind of particular about the ammo that it will take

5.5 the supersonic issue can be addressed by changing over to CO2. From what I understand you get a lot more shots per cylinder with lower FPS when you use Co2 which would be a benefit for my application.
The one thing I don’t like about the Logun 16S is there doesn’t seem to be power adjustment . So at least I would have a high power (air) and a low power (Co2).
Now I don’t have this gun yet so I’m wondering if my reasoning is correct here. By using the Co2 option I could still use the raptor and stay subsonic.

AOA carries the entire line, individual pellet lengths are listed and you should be able to mic the s16 magazine to determine what can fit comfortably. The Dynamic PCP2 at 14.5 grain and 0.348″ long, ought to work in your setup.

I’ve never shot raptors through my S16, not sure if the make them in .22. However, there are three reasons I would recommend against them. 1) Too light (5.4 grains) and will undoubtedly go supersonic which is loud, but more importantly inaccurate (the sonic boom de-stabilizes the pellet) 2) Most airgun manufacturers recommend use of lead pellets and the raptors are made of some sort of alloy. IMHO the raptors are a gimmic aimed at novice .177 shooters thinking they will improve performance/fps with lighter pellets. 3) Expensive (.177 x 100 = $10)
Well the patent details are still being worked out so I can’t talk about to freely but when I can I will.
When I was a kid I had a Sheridan single shot ( the one with that long arm pump) and I killed more rabbits with it then the guys with .22s and shot guns.
I was surprised to see how far air guns have come since those days.
I don’t think they had the preloads back then.
I’m blown away by how far its all come.

My application for the Logun is neither hunting or target but I’m using it for an injection system so sub or super sonic and all such matters don’t mean a thing to me.

Mine loves CP’s, JSB , Kodiaks and Logun. My best groups are with CP’s (die 1).

Corect. S16 does not have a power adjustment. CO2 will in fact be slower than HPA. 14.3 grain CP’s average about 950 fps using HPA…. I think the .22 raptors are 9.9 grains so they would definitely go sonic with HPA… they should be subsonic with CO2 (especially if its cold out). May need to factor local conditions (altitude, temp, etc).
