HW100SK with custom barrel
Just fitted this barrel to my hw100sk. The original fac barrel was too long for my liking, but too good to be chopped down. So i fitted this Anchultz match barrel which was chopped from the breach in order to keep the choke and target crown.
After initial sight in i’ve shot this 5 shot grouping @ 20yards indoors with only the front rested on a towel and carton box.

Lucas…..the barrel is from a Steyr LG110 (similar to the one in your avatar) The throating on the barrel was ruined by a home tuner who thought it would be a gr8 idea to open it up a bit so heavy e.j .177 pellets wouldn’t be such a tight fit. 😯
Well he opened it up only to find e.j’s is no match for jsb or baracuda’s in this barrel. When he tried jsb’s again, accuracy was about 2″ @ 30m. Too late for tears, so i bought it and the Steyr was converted to .20
Don’t think you’ll find a lot of these barrels floating around and afaik they don’t sell them separately.
Must be the only hw100 carbine with a Steyr barrel…. in the world 8)

She’s about 94cm (37″) short including silencer. Very maneuverable and accurate. I’ve now routinely shot 6mm edge to edge 5 shot groupings indoors @ 30m with jsb 4.52.
I’ve lost about 1 magazine’s worth of shots because of shorter barrel for same power, but that’s a sacrifice i was willing to make.

That looks really good with the short barrel. Would be very handy for using in smaller spaces such as a loft, barn or dense scrub. Lekker!
