Q:

Another HomeBuild 9MM

Each time I build one of these, the design gets a little more refined.

The last 9 MM shoots a 150 grain .352 slug @ 973 Feet Per Second, from a 17 inch barrel.
Thats 315 FPE.

This gun will have a 26.5 inch barrel, a stronger spring, a longer hammer stroke, and a bigger valve.

The shroud will not enclose the barrel. I have concluded that its impossable to quiet this much power.

Been working on this one for 2 weeks now.

Breach is mostly done
Hammer is done
26 inch barrel is done
Shroud tube is cut
Trigger housing is 90% done (gotta add the safety).
All the trigger parts are built.
The air tank adaptor is built.

another good looking project Mark. You definitely are getting more proficient at putting them together. Much faster than the previous versions. Look forward to watching your progress.

Man, that looks nice!! spray a little wd40 on your endmill and it will leave a lot smoother finish 😉
