hpa paint ball tank
Has anyone tried to use hpa with the co2 adapter? they have the hpa paint ball tanks that will screw onto the co2 adapter. I am thinking it might be good for back yard shooting, if it works.

It works…kind of.
The larger HPA tanks are a bit long…add in the length of the co2 adaptor…and you ned up with a whole lot of reach to the trigger. The coomon 48-52ci tank is also a bit fat. Do the measruments first.
But the idea is sound, and it does work. Most HPA tanks are regulated to 800-850psi, and at that pressure will give about summer co2 speeds (but aen’t temperature sensitive). Are some specaility (airgun related) shops that sell small tanks (22ci or 13ci) that are regulated to hight pressures (1000, 1250, 1400, 1600, 2000psi).
All in all, if low speed is your goal, the micro-meter AirForce tank would probably work out best.
