painting alum.
i was just wondering what the best wat to paint alum is so that you do not have to repaint it all the time. i tried primer made for alum first but still did not help and i did degease the part first. i was thinking of the paint made for plastic or asid eching (sp?) the alum part. any ideas? i am looking for flat black of course. thanks

Actually, I was kinda hoping you came back and said you did it at home. Then we could have got you to give us a lesson or thoughts on the subject. I see the El Cheapo kit at Harbor Freight and always wonder if its worth a damn or not.
