Q:

UK Gunpower

👿
Spent my reddies on a stealth only to find out that i can not do any maintenance to my own rifle.

The bolt hidden by the fore hand grip is locked into posistion and then the head is rounded off so you can not remove the barrel.

This has been done as an anti tamper measure but I can’t maintain the rifle any more. What a joke

It is not a production error but something that gunpower UK now do to all their range to stop people putting the power up too high. Here in the uk we are limited to 12 foot pounds unless we own an FAC licence.

Gunpower claim that they had to do it in order to keep selling them here in the uk. I think it is a joke myself.

Could you imagine the look on the face of the civle servent that opens my envelope with an invoice for having my stealth cleaned because they insist that i should not be able to remove the barrel and clean/maintain it myself.

I can however go out and get a shotgun with very little effort as it is an english mans right to own one.

this might sound abit harsh but cut the front grip off and take the screw out and replace it
u know your going to get a set off grips for it anyway lol

is the bolt locked open and the gun wont shoot?
if so it sounds like a safety problem, wiggle that little bugger around in’tll you hear it disengage. after you get it to fire don’t re cock it, get your self an allen wrench that will fit inside of the rounded screw and some two part strong epoxy and glue that thing in to the screw, remove and fix the safety, or whatever is going on, replace the rounded one and 🙂

So what if you want to change calibers or barrel length? That is one of the main features of the gun. Do they advertise that as one of the features in the UK? Its pretty stupid to lock it up at that point as many power mods can be done at the valve end of the gun.
