IF my gun was purple, I probably would have just covered it with a Camo pattern.
Now if the whole gun was purple, I would keep it and give it to my wife for Christmas. She shoots it better than I do anyway.
Fortunately mine is black, I wouldn’t have liked a purple one. Dnc has a purple one, he doesn’t mind, but I can’t stand it. I would have to have it fixed.

I wound up sending my “purple” condor back to the vendor. The more I looked at it the more I realized I wasn’t gonna be happy with it. The contrast between the black grips and shroud and that purple frame just stood out to much….
Will order a replacement after the holidays.

When I bought my SS I had to go through three boxes before found one that wasnt purple. This was well over a year ago now. I think they were kinda annoyed I kept making them bring out another box but I wouldn’t have bought a purple one.
Mine has some red, yellow, and orange on it now, but I plan to put purple on too.
Spoke with Rachael at AF they will replace the frame and end cap no charge, Its a 2 or 3 day turn around.

As WOK says. It is the result of a failed anodize so the black is not fully dyed.
So if you wish AirForce to continue providing poor anodizing then keep your purple guns. If you want them to change their QC then return it for an exchange.

One Talon ss from Mac 1 black. 2nd Talon ss from Pyramid purple. The purple one only bothers me when it is sitting next to the black one. I guess I will try to camo it. 8) 8)
