Q:

350 Mag , what kind of shroud

I need a little help . I wanted to quiet down my 350 but didnt know who does that stuff.

I called a well known tuner, and asked for a shroud , and he said he could do it and has done it, but the gun is ridicouously long.about 19 longer than it is now .

Kinda looks like a spear with a trigger.

I agreed with him and didnt do it. My thanks to him for being honest.

Is there someplace I get something like that ?? thanks

A shroud on a springer is fairly pointless. Sure, it will quiet it down some, but you have to consider is the juice worth the squeeze on this one…and in the case of a springer, often it is not.

Much of the noise on a springer is from mechanical noise that is not dampened by a shroud or silencer. The best way to quiet a springer is with a good tune.

The air utilized in a springer is high presser but very, very low volume so the ‘blast’ from a springer is next to nothing.

I did check with him . (no go)

If you have not done so, check with Rich.
